The Cedar Grove Management Team is looking for Front of House Staff, experienced in fine dining service, who are passionate about a.) the people he or she is taking care of, b.) the product being served, and c.) working as a team with fellow co-workers. The team chosen to open this new restaurant, will take part in extensive opening training and will be given the opportunity to grow within the company if desired. Cedar Grove will be open for weekend brunch and dinner seven days a week and will serve seasonal american cuisine with an extensive wine offering, craft cocktails, and local craft beer.
Be knowledgeable about all menus, including food, wine, and beverage.
Maintain a professional demeanor on and off the floor.
Recognize when you need help and always ask for help when it is needed.
Be able to carry a tray for beverages, and properly carry plates in an organized way.
Give unobtrusive, knowledgeable and genuine service. Every guest as an opportunity. Our job is to educate and guide them through a memorable and unique dining experience.
Passion for Product, People and Teamwork.
Technical proficiency in Steps of Service.
Extensive knowledge about our Restaurant, and how it operates.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively engage in individual conversations as well as with groups.
